Champa Deli, Denver: Right Thing to Do



I would like to see a smoke-free ordinance passed in Denver for restaurants and bars.

Champa Deli opened eleven years ago. We became smoke free eight years ago, and there has been no adverse effect on business.

Smoke-free is an asset to the business, because there is more socialization versus trying to run away from the smoke, people can taste the food versus the smoke, and we all feel better in a smoke-free environment.

I feel that smoke is dangerous to people and is poison. Being smoke-free is the right thing to do.

I am from Boulder, and their smoke-free policies have been great for business and health. Letís lead the state being the best.
