Matiana's Greek Café, Denver: It's About Health

It is tough enough to breathe in Denver – with the pollution and altitude – to breathe second-hand smoke. Smoke – even on the breath or clothes – bothers me. My eyes water and I begin coughing – sometimes it leads to bronchitis.

Matiana's Greek Café opened five years ago. We purchased the business three years ago, and have never allowed smoking. No one has ever complained about the café being smoke free, and those that smoke can sit outside.

•• Walls, windows and floors stay cleaner.

•• The aromas from the food encourage people to order, and order more.

Therefore, I would like the City adopt a smoke-free restaurant and bar ordinance.
