Penn Street Perk, Denver: Even Out of Town Customers Like Our Policy

I want to bring to your attention some important points re the decision on the smoke-free Denver restaurant and bar ordinance.

Penn Street Perk is a family coffeehouse, which opened four years ago as a smoke-free establishment. It has not been a problem with business because we are smoke free – our customers, even from out of town, appreciate the environment. In fact, I know people will not even enter a smoky place.

I love this atmosphere – we all feel better working in it, there is less absenteeism and illness, and clean up and damage are much less. This makes a sensible business scenario.
