When we opened our fine Japanese Sushi restaurant eight years ago, we did not allow smoking for many reasons:

1. Smoke spoils the atmosphere we have worked hard to create.

2. The fish and workers absorb the smoke, harming both.

3. Our customers want to taste the fine essences of the food.

4. Our policy is more consistent with our healthy food concept.

5. It is all about health.

Our customers have never complained about our smoke-free policy. In fact, we continue to receive compliments and excellent patronage.

Therefore, we encourage the City to adopt a smoke-free restaurant and bar ordinance.
