GASP of Colorado (Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution) Privacy Notice

This privacy notice applies solely to the information collected on these websites, except where stated otherwise. This privacy policy provides you of the following:  What information GASP collects; with whom it is shared; how it can be corrected; how it is secured; how policy changes will be communicated; and how to address concerns over misuse of personal data.

 

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing:  GASP is the sole owners of the information collected on this site. GASP only has access to/collect information that you voluntarily give GASP via email or other direct contact from you. GASP does not sell or rent this information to anyone. 

 

GASP uses  your information to respond to appropriate communications, regarding the reason you contacted GASP. Although it is rare, GASP may share your contact information with other kindred health groups or businesses that share GASP’s goal to reduce secondhand smoke exposure to tobacco, marijuana, or vape in Colorado’s public places and workplaces.

 

Unless you ask GASP not to, we may contact you via email in the future to inform you of our activities and actions, to support an activity, or make a donation to our cause.

 

Your Access to and Control Over Information: You may opt out of any future contacts from GASP at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address, phone number, or mailing address provided on our website: See what data we have about you, if any; change/correct any data we have about you; have us delete any data we have about you or remove you from our contact list; or express any concern you have about our use of your data.

 

Contact Registration: To receive e-mail or contact GASP a user of our websites must first complete a contact form and is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about GASP and our services or activities which you have expressed interest.

 

Sharing: GASP does not sell our contact lists and although rare, we may share your contact information with groups or associations that share our objectives to reduce secondhand smoke exposure to tobacco, marijuana, or vape in Colorado’s public places and workplaces.

 

Security: GASP takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.  GASP uses Pay Pal for all website donations so GASP does not collect credit card data.  Information provided by mail or by phone is subject to our sharing guidelines.

 

Cookies: Cookies are automatically collected when you visit GASP websites.  GASP does not use the information except to track website usage data like how many people visit our websites, what areas are of most interest, etc.

 

Links: GASP’s websites contain links to other kindred groups or businesses. Please be aware that GASP is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. The Colorado Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution (GASP) is a 501-c-3 statewide nonprofit organization founded in 1977.  Through education and policy change, GASP works to save lives though actions to eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke at work, in public places, and in multiunit housing.  No one should be forced to breathe secondhand smoke, whether it is from tobacco or marijuana smoking or the aerosols emitted by electronic smoking devices.
